It will come as no surprise when I say that camo pants are my favorite pair of printed/colored pants to wear right now. I have been wearing them several times a week since I scooped up a pair of GAP’s cropped skimmers this Spring.

Last Friday we went on a date downtown to do some antique shopping. It wasn’t exactly Soren’s idea of fun, but I had high hopes of finding a dresser for the nursery and maybe some décor.

Well, I took a risk this Spring. I bought white maternity jeans. I thought I could handle it. Everyone that has ever told me that white couch covers work great with kids is lying. Anyone who says white jeans work great for moms is lying too.

Kesler, my two year old, had taken my sewing scissors to my new pair of maternity jeggings. And you can’t see it in the picture, but this hole is not conveniently placed. So I was off to patch another pair of jeans.

I am not one to wear skirts outside of church regularly, but this week I had fun pairing my denim vest with a graphic tee and knit skirt. Normally I would pair this top and vest with some colored skinnies, but a casual skirt works just as well!

With Easter around the corner, I feel like Spring is in the air! We have had a great week of preparing for Easter- from teaching/learning about the real meaning of Easter to prepping Easter outfits to decorating cookies.

Mint is one of my favorite colors right now and it was only right to pair it with camel and leopard print.

We have a split-level home and before we bought it, I knew that most people don’t love them. I haven’t minded it until I realized how hard it is to decorate the entryway!

I love traditions and celebrating holidays, but lets be honest- it can take of work and and planning to stay on top of them! I had a few fun treats pinned to make for St. Patrick’s Day, but those didn’t happen when I forgot to purchase Lucky Charms!
