We won't be going out to dance or party or do anything glamorous, but I can't imagine a better way to end this year and start the next.

This outfit is a super casual usual around here. I wear this tunic all of the time and layering it with a cardigan makes it warmer for Winter inside wear. I bought myself this Freshly Picked bag for Christmas and holy cow- it really is amazing.

Have you already started to make goals for next year? What traditions to you have for starting the New Year off?

All in all it was a wonderful Christmas. The boys are old enough to be entertained by their toys all day and I just loved watching and playing with them.

I have been thinking about writing this for a while, but honestly haven't been sure what I had to tell. We've kept so busy that its easy to think that I've moved on- but there has still been a healing process and in the spirit of keeping it real I wanted to share how its been lately.

I've mentioned before that we don't get out on dates often, especially not dressy ones, but this weekend we stepped it up and went to the Nutcracker. We went on a double date with my parents and it was wonderful.

Well it is Christmas Sunday and this is a festive as I'm going to get. My kids are all sick so I'll be staying home with them and only Soren will make it to church. Usually I have a Christmas "dress" and the kids have coordinating outfits and I love getting a family photo after church.

What a great day we are looking forward to! I feel like I'm catching up on life a little and man that feels good! We are almost totally caught up on orders- which have been the biggest blessing and most time-consuming part of life lately. Almost all Christmas presents have been purchased.

Today I'm feeling a little sleep deprived- which I'm finding deprives you of kind of everything. Creativity, patience, energy, confidence, a working brain... you get the picture. There may be sparkle on my tee, but not necessarily in my eyes.
