I am not one to wear skirts outside of church regularly, but this week I had fun pairing my denim vest with a graphic tee and knit skirt. Normally I would pair this top and vest with some colored skinnies, but a casual skirt works just as well!

Now, let’s talk coral. It is a hot color right now and there is no denying it. Coral and mint are both doing well this Spring. But what does the name coral even mean anymore?? It is pink? Peach? Red? Orange? The name coral is applied to so many different shades and hues that I don’t think anyone even knows what it describes anymore. I bought this skirt and expecting it to be coral in color, as it was described. Does it look coral to you? I’m thinking it is pretty much red. Red-orange. I love it, but come on- it is not coral!

I think there are people out there who would term this sweatshirt coral as well. And compared to the skirt above, it might be a little closer. Whatever color it is (peach?) I love the pastel hue and simple, comfortable fit. A cute sweatshirt, cropped jeans and a pair of TOMS is great recipe for a Spring outfit. I even threw in a little color pop with this fun watch I ordered from Very Jane a few weeks ago.

So the moral of the story. Beware of color fraud. Online purchases can lead you astray by falsely claiming popular color choices as their own. Lets get this coral and mint thing straight! I can’t stand it!
