Today I have a quick little video for you about one of my newest beauty tools, a heated eyelash curler. One of my good friends gave it to me for my birthday and it was a fun surprise.

If you had asked me even just two or three years ago if I ever thought I'd be hiring a photographer to set up my own blogging photo shoots, I would have said, "Yeah right!" Up until now, Soren (or Easton) has taken almost all of my blog photos, and they have really done a great job.

One my favorite parts about my kids getting bigger (and there aren't many of those! STAY LITTLE!), is doing things with them that they get excited about. A few weeks ago, Kesler saw an ad for the Renaissance Festival here in Kansas City, and he could not stop talking about it.

Lately things have been great, but I find my creativity and deep thoughts are lacking. I kinda love/hate these kind of posts - but more love them, so today I'm taking stock.

Every spring and fall, I put away the previous season's clothes and pull out the upcoming season's. I started doing it in high school, and I love it. When items hang in my closet year round, I see them so frequently that I get tired of them before they are even close to worn out.

I've mentioned this before, but I started this blog to try and promote and share more about my first business, ONE little BELT. In 2009, we started our first handmade leather business selling leather belts for babies, toddlers, and little ones.

I really love pencil skirts. I think they mimic the skinny pants I wear daily and work well with all of my loose fitting tops, but the style of this striped skirt was actually really fun to wear.

When I opened my email from Stitch Fix in July, inviting me out to San Fransisco I was in shock. It felt like, holy cow, all of this blogging has paid off!
