A few weeks ago, I went on an amazing trip to San Francisco thanks to a company called Stitch Fix. Six other bloggers and I flew out to learn about the company, tour their facilities, and just have a fun vacation. It was such a dream come true!

It's no secret that camo is one of my favorite prints. I've been wearing it for years and can't seem to give it up.

I am Brave and Beautiful - a beauty movement that is sweeping the globe. Colbie Caillat started it with her recent song and video called TRY. My good friend Megan of Brassy Apple wanted to push this movement along and invited women from all over to share what they looked like without make up and I joined in!!

I always love plaid in the fall, so when I found this skirt while thrifting a while back I was instantly drawn to it. It isn't traditional by any means, but the fresh and bold print is exciting to me, and I decided it was worth taking a risk on.

We have officially been back to school for about a month now and one month in kindergarten is a good milestone to hit. Things are getting to be routine and everyone is adjusting to our new normal.

I've tried before, but this year is the first time I've mastered sewing an infinity scarf. They really aren't very hard to sew - as long as you follow a tutorial! Because it's definitely scarf season, I thought I'd show you how I have made mine.

Do you ever have those days where you feel like everything is going right? Not like a day where every lucky and amazing surprise happened (although those days are fun too!), but one where you felt like you had just nailed it.

As you know, we launched our fall collection on Nickel & Suede last week. I'm so happy with how it turned out, but holy cow, it was amazing how much work it took to get it together.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm sitting in a house in San Fransisco blogging in real time right now. After the craziest week of the year to date (10 year reunion and fall product launch), I feel like the luckiest lady alive.
