In the last month or two, I have had several friends approach me about putting together outfits for them for upcoming events. I LOVE when people ask me for help with this - even if it's text messaging me photos - so I jumped at the chance to help them.

Every Monday, Lisa posts her 'Hello Mondays' and I can't help but do the same today as I wear this sweatshirt. It just seems too appropriate.

One of my favorite parts of being a mom has been discovering my kids' personalities. They are each so different and yet so similar too. Soren and I have been amazed to see what little or big parts of us come out in each of our kids.

Going out to lunch is extremely rare for me, but yesterday was a really good personal outing. It was hard to get out of my bubble and find a sitter and park my dang van downtown - but sometimes those things are worth it.

It has taken me almost two years of blogging and really working on my wardrobe to feel ready to launch a series like this. I was so hesitant to even start a style blog before ONE little MOMMA because I really didn't think I was an authority on fashion.

I go back and forth about white jeans around here. They really don't stay clean, but I really, really love the way they look. They give new life to so many outfits that I think they are worth owning and wearing from time to time. I don't expect them to stay smudge free, but I do my best. I also keep a bottle of Oxyclean handy.

A few years back, I found this amazing polyester blend, brush-stroke-printed fabric at a garage sale. I love vintage fabric in general, and when I saw it marked a dollar for multiple yards, I couldn't pass it up.

Happy Mother's Day, mommas!! You are amazing and deserve to be celebrated. I sincerely hope that you feel loved today by the little people who are in your life (and by the big ones too!).
