I go back and forth about white jeans around here. They really don't stay clean, but I really, really love the way they look. They give new life to so many outfits that I think they are worth owning and wearing from time to time. I don't expect them to stay smudge free, but I do my best. I also keep a bottle of Oxyclean handy.

This particular pair of jeans did have a stain that I couldn't get out so I hadn't worn them in a while, until I realized the perfect solution - I would distress the stain away!! The stain was in a perfect place to create some distressing, so I got to work. I also remembered that these jeans fit on the snug side.... but with a few cuts and rips, knee holes could give me some extra room and movement. Genius! I already love my distressed blue jeans, but these white ones may be a new favorite!

I'm sharing a tutorial for distressing white denim over at Brassy Apple today, so click on over to get the details.
