ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
Shop Update and But Mostly Thank You
First, I really don't even know how to say thank you enough for all of your comments on last week's post. I really felt so much better after getting it all off of my chest, but then your comments and emails and hugs really lifted me up.
HONEST: I'm Being Held Against My Will
What feeling am I looking to escape with my handfuls of M&M's, fruit snacks, granola bars and cereal? Oh, just the feeling of being HELD HOSTAGE. It is wearing me out.
What I Wore: Holiday in Red and Fur
At his previous job the holiday party was always cocktail attire, but this year there is NO DRESS CODE listed. It is an afternoon party and I'm guessing everyone will be dressed on the casual side.
What I Wore- Reindeer Sweater
When I saw this sweater in the "Ugly Sweater" section at Savers- I knew there had been a classifying mistake. A navy and red vintage reindeer sweater? What luck! I snagged it and it has been the perfect go-to sweater for all holiday events this season.
Photo Friday: The Great Tree Hunt
I have yet to find the right fake tree so we usually just pick a real one up from Lowes, and dream of the days of a nice pre-lit evergreen. Well on a whim I looked up a local tree farm and we decided to try our hand at cutting one down. What a great tradition to start!
How To Wear: Boyfriend Jeans
Boyfriend jeans are a cut of denim that has been around for a few years and is still going strong. They have been more for the adventurous fashion crowd, but they really are for everyone!
What I Wore- Puffer Vest and Stripes
If you haven't already noticed- vests are one of my favorite layering pieces this year. I am so glad they have made such a strong come back!
Christmas Hydrangea Wreath- Tutorial
As I pulled out the Christmas decorations this year I found that we were going to need a new wreath for the front door. The holly wreath that we have had for years was expired after being smashed and tossed around the storage room too many times.
What I Wore- Graphic Sweater and 9thandElm.com
My typical process when putting an outfit together is to put on something relatively simple and then tweak it by adding something that says 'me'. This cowl definitely fits that bill.
