Shop Update and But Mostly Thank You

First, I really don't even know how to say thank you enough for all of your comments on last week's post. I really felt so much better after getting it all off of my chest, but then your comments and emails and hugs really lifted me up. I tried to reply to as many of you as I could! I loved hearing how similar our lives are- the good stuff and the tough stuff because SO often I fall victim to thinking that "it's just me". As much as I love sharing style tips and outfits and DIY projects, I really feel like I get the most out of blogging when I'm just down right real and open. I have yet to find out that it is "just me". Instead it's ALL OF US, we just don't often share those things with others. Thank you for telling me your stories and being open enough to let me know I'm not alone. Its amazing how many things that awareness fixes for us women!

As the new year starts, I've been thinking that I would like to write about more things that are real and true to my heart in this stage of life. I don't enjoy reading blogs that are always down on how hard parenthood is, but I also get tired of reading overly optimistic and positive blogs. There is a place for both the highs and lows in life.  I  often find myself drawn to or wantings to see a balanced life from the bloggers that I read. I love to gain inspiration from other's creativity and amazing talents, but I also want to know what they struggle with and what real life is like for them. I think we can all learn from each other's struggles just as much as we can learn from each other's talents.

So the question is... is it just me? Do you enjoy reading the good and the tough too? I'm not sure where or how often this would fit in because I still plan to blog my projects, outfits, and DIYs, not to mention Shop Updates, but I'm thinking about it....
