We had back to school night last night, and my first little man officially starts kindergarten tomorrow. I asked him how he could possibly be so old - after all, he was just a little baby yesterday, I swear!

I first saw these floral jeans two years ago and immediately added them to my birthday wish list. My mom bought them for me and I was over the moon about them while my husband was calling me a grandma couch.

This week's edition of Everyday Style is all about making an outfit interesting. I own a lot of basics, but I typically mix them up in an unusual way, or I make them interesting by adding one unexpected piece.

One night he pulled out the latest box and guess what it was full of? Shoes! He had ordered six pairs of surprisingly amazing shoes and had me try them all on and weigh in on my favorite as an early birthday gift. Um, dream come true!

I’ve been pulling out more maternity clothes and tucking away my normal ones for later. I’m hoping I can get a few more weeks out of these floral skinnies and some other jeans that I don’t want to give up quite yet!

Winter hasn’t started for us here in Kansas City. It's 60 degrees today and totally t-shirt weather- and I am not complaining! I wore this super comfy knit skirt and drapey cardigan on Sunday.

This week I found the black ankle boots I have been searching for!! Well, sort of. I have been coveting this pair for a while, but it just wasn’t in my budget.

Decided to try something new with my hair AND outfits.
