What a great day we are looking forward to! I feel like I'm catching up on life a little and man that feels good! We are almost totally caught up on orders- which have been the biggest blessing and most time consuming part of life lately. Almost all Christmas presents have been purchased. I cleaned our carpets this week and I finally broke down and hired some cleaning ladies. They came last week and it was such a HUGE blessing. We needed some serious deep cleaning help. You know I'm counting down the days until they come again.
Today we get to go watch Easton receive his first leadership award at school and attend his class holiday party- and then we get him home for Winter break for 2 weeks! And tonight---- is date night. Last week my Dad called Soren and said he could get discounted tickets to the Nutcracker and suggested surprising me with a date. Soren's response? "I don't think so- she has already been to the Nutcracker." WHAT?!? It's like he doesn't even know me. Thankfully he called and asked me, which ruined the surprise factor, but at least I got to say, "Heck yes I want to go!" He still doesn't understand and in his opinion once is enough- but we are still going- which is good enough for me.
Do you have plans for tonight? Do you enjoy the Nutcracker every year, once and a while or is once enough for you too?
