ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
Hola Sweatshirt- DIY Graphic Sweatshirt
Graphic tees have been a go-to for my momma style this year. They are so easy to dress up and still feel comfortable. So it is no surprise that graphic sweatshirts hold the same place in my heart as things are cooling down this Fall.
What I Wore- Hazel and Chocolate
Sometimes it is all about basic pieces in your wardrobe- in interesting color combinations. Try challenging yourself when you are putting together an outfit. I almost paired this sweater with a patterned skirt, but I like the basic but bold statement it makes next to the chocolate leather.
InstaFriday- Optimistic
I feel like I complained a whole lot last week- okay two weeks ago. Yes it was all true. Yes I am feeling overwhelmed often. Yes I'm not sleeping enough and I am grouchy sometimes- but really there is so much that is going well. And I am really wanting to focus on that.
What I Wore- Lace Sweater and Tall Boots
To wear orange this month and not feel like a pumpkin yourself, go with a muted or burnt orange. I love this shade in this lace sweatshirt. It pairs nicely with denim and chocolate boots- but really it will go with any brown boot.
What I Wore- Camo and Oxblood
These camo pants, although on trend, are my favorite thrifting find in months and have definite classic potential in my closet. I also love a good over sized cardigan, especially in a currently trendy color.
Mixing Prints with Gracie B- Ikat and Stripes
I've been pulling out my scarves more often these days now that is is cooling down. I love Summer scarves, but it is just too hot here to wear them in the summertime!
5 Tips for Choosing Family Photo Outfits
Choosing what to wear it just one of the stressers that families, especially the mommas, get to deal with. I'd like to offer five tips to help you choose your family's outfits and hopefully make photo sessions a little easier.
What I Wore- Buffalo Plaid and Boyfriend Jeans
Red and white plaid feels like Fall. It reminds me of apples and country fairs and rodeos. My husband thinks I look like I am wearing a tablecloth, but I really want to wear this shirt daily.
Easy DIY Paper Leaves Garland for Fall
I have been looking for a fun garland to hang there as I decorate for Fall, but haven't found one yet. I love to create something if I can't find it so I grabbed some paper and started cutting.
