ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
InstaFriday- I Will Have No Memories of This Time of Life
Seriously, what a week. It has flown by and honestly it is a good think, er thing, that I have photos to remind me of what we did. My memories are hazy at best between how busy it was and how little sleep I got.
Postpartum Wedding Style
This black and white combo is something that I wore to a wedding when Knox was less than a month old. It is a great postpartum combination because it is made up of a slimming black pencil skirt and a loose, printed blouse.
What I Wore- Denim on Denim
My husband has the perfect western denim shirt- two of them actually. I bought mine because I think his are so cool and although I have tried, his are just too big for me to pull off.
Soccer Party for Our Big Four Year Old
The day after Easton's third birthday party, which was football themed, he told me his next party was going to be a soccer party.
InstaFriday- Best Date to Date
Remember that date night I was dreaming about? Well I definitely had my dreams come true! Soren surprised me with tickets to Taylor Swift! He bought them to celebrate starting his new job (which he LOVES- YAY!!!).
Trend Spotting: Printed Blazers
This last year has been quite a year for colored jeans and even printed jeans. As trends slow down, other ones are sure to take their place and one trend I see up and coming is the prints moving from the pants up to blazers.
What I Wore- Harem Pants and a Fedora
I post plenty of dressed up photos here on the old blog, but I really don't wear those outfits everyday. This is more of something that you would spot me wearing on an errand to Target. I am a big fedora wearer so this tribal print one was a no brainer for me.
What I Wore- Western Denim and a Pencil Skirt
I love it when I find new ways to combine old stand-bys in my wardrobe. Trendy pieces are fun to mix up your wardrobe with, but you really need to have a good wardrobe base to work with.
Make Your Own Vintage Wood Stain- DIY
Most of the ideas I found used apple cider vinegar and steel wool plus either coffee or tea. Luckily I had the vinegar and the steel wool on hand, but no tea or coffee. So we improvised and it came out even better than we could have planned!
