What I Wore- Denim on Denim

Jeans: GAP

Shoes: DSW

 

My husband has the perfect western denim shirt- two of them actually. I bought mine because I think his are so cool and although I have tried, his are just too big for me to pull off.  You may have noticed I have been wearing mine a lot- like every day since it arrived.

 

Well my hubby wears his a lot too, but guess where? In the garage- as work shirts! I am always telling him to stop wearing them while he is working and start wearing them when we go out! His biggest complaint is not knowing how to wear it because you can't wear it with jeans. "Yes you can!" I always try to tell him. And this outfit is proof. Pair a light washed denim shirt with dark wash jeans. If your shirt fits loose, go tighter on the cut of the pants. If the shirt is snug, go with a looser cut on the bottoms. Easy! And if you are a lady- swipe on some red orange lipstick for good lips that pop!
