Green has always been my favorite color- to wear and just in life. I look best in green and own more green clothing than any other- including three pairs of green pants!

We inherited this raw wood bookcase with our house. It has been in the basement collecting dust and storing who knows what until I caught a glimpse of it the other day. "Uh, can I have that bookcase for the nursery??" I asked Soren. He was reluctant to give it up, but with a few pleases he brought it upstairs for me.

It's Friday and it is the best kind- the long weekend kind!!

Happy Independence Day to all of my US readers! My favorite holiday has arrived and you'll find me celebrating all day today. Providing it isn't a gazillion degrees, this is what I'll be wearing to our church breakfast, and many other fun plans.

The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. I love the food, the fireworks, the season and of course, America. This year especially I am loving the American flag motif and red, white, and blue.
