Well- if you follow along on Instagram or Facebook, you might know I don't exactly look like this anymore. A few things have changed since last Wednesday, one of them being how many people are in our family. Last Thursday morning we had our baby!

If there is one thing that you can accuse me of and I won't deny it- it's jumping in on Fall too early. I don't care that it's still August (only one more day!) and that I've been talking about Fall style since July. I just have been, I always do and I know it's cliche.

Vacation style seems appropriate since today we are spending the day running around preparing for vacation. I WISH we were heading to Hawaii- but not this year. We are gearing up for a big road trip and although I kinda love road trips, I know it will be LONG.

I'm a chronic layerer. Even when it's hot. So kimonos are trend that totally make sense for me. They are lightweight and don't add any extra warmth to an outfit- just a fun pattern and my beloved extra layer.

You may have noticed an overall boho theme around here lately- and it's true. Loose fitting boho tops have been perfect for hiding the halfway bump that comes in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Not that I don't love a baby bump, but until it looks like a real bump I'm okay hiding it.

I have great news friends: this is the last week you will be have to suffer through these grainy cell phone photos! One of the benefits of Soren working from home now is that he is around more and has been able to catch up on a few projects.

Happy Independence Day to all of my US readers! My favorite holiday has arrived and you'll find me celebrating all day today. Providing it isn't a gazillion degrees, this is what I'll be wearing to our church breakfast, and many other fun plans.

This vest has been as great during pregnancy as before. Belting it above my belly makes me look a little more pregnant rather than questionable and I love using it as an extra layer peeking out beneath a jacket.

I’ve had so much luck thrifting in these last few weeks- it has been fun to style my finds. Nothing like having new things to wear as your size is going up and out.
