You may have noticed an overall boho theme around here lately- and it's true. Loose fitting boho tops have been perfect for hiding the halfway bump that comes in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Not that I don't love a baby bump, but until it looks like a real bump I'm okay hiding it. However, even if I weren't in my first trimester I do am loving all things fringe, flared, and embroidered. Its great to add unique pieces like a fringed bag or an embroidered top to your wardrobe rotation to add some dimension and interest to your basics.
I bought these flared jeans from Express a month or two ago and wanted to update you on their fit and function. They are super comfortable and have a great amount of stretch. The do run big however so I had to size down more than I would have expected. I also bought two lengths to try- regular and short. Regular is the length you see here and I can only wear them with really tall wedges (I'm 5'7"). Short were a half an inch too short to wear with flats. I only kept the regular length pair and am thinking of getting then hemmed just a bit shorter. I think I'll wear them more if I don't have to wear such a tall heel. But otherwise these pants are definitely a great pair of flares.
We are looking forward to a fun week around here although its still early on Monday and I'm feeling a little lost about what needs to get done. (Time to make my to-do list), Easton only has 2.5 more days of school and Soren is helping at Field Day today. I'm going in for my first check up and expect it to be uneventful. :) On Wednesday Soren is leaving for Seattle to climb Mt.Shuksann for a few days and while he is gone I'm taking the kids on a little road trip to stay in Omaha and go to the zoo. It sounds busy, but we all have things to look forward to which is really what makes life good.
What do you have this week? Are you looking forward to school being out too?
