This last month has been so busy with work and family that I haven't taken many professional photos for full blog posts. I'll have more of those to share soon, but today I have a big round up of outfits from Instagram.

One of the things that drives my husband crazy about me (and not in a good way) is the fact that all of my electronic devices are always out of battery. Currently my laptop is dying (must go plug in now) and my phone is probably at 5%.

I love plaid in the fall, but for some reason, I've always felt like red buffalo print plaid was exclusively for the holidays. I wore these pants last Christmas, but I recently realized I could pull them out before December.

I've tried before, but this year is the first time I've mastered sewing an infinity scarf. They really aren't very hard to sew - as long as you follow a tutorial! Because it's definitely scarf season, I thought I'd show you how I have made mine.

I was home with sick kids last week and didn't get dressed for church - and if you know me, you know I didn't get dressed in a skirt the rest of the week either! Thankfully, we are all better this week and will be marching off to church in a couple of hours.

When I wore the kimono above, so many of you expressed how much you loved it but were sad it could only be purchased through Stitch Fix. I promised to find more kimono options for you and I've posted some before, but today I have a gold mine of them for you.

This week, I've been feeling overwhelmingly blessed and excited for the future. Having battled depression, an eating disorder, and a rough first 5-6 years of our marriage, it feels really foreign to be feeling SO darn hopeful!

Last week I posted a tutorial for cut-off denim shorts, and in it I mentioned other varieties to try. Well, I took my own advice and cut off some chinos.
