ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
Birth Story- Baker Nickels
First, I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of reading other people's birth stories. However, I love having my own written down and here on the blog seems like the perfect place to put them. So if you enjoy birth stories, read on. If not- enjoy the cute pics and you'll get the gist of things.
He's Here!
He's here! We're so happy to announce the new addition to our little family- Baker Paul Nickels.
Flares, a Fedora and My Favorite Yellow- Maternity Style
Well- if you follow along on Instagram or Facebook, you might know I don't exactly look like this anymore. A few things have changed since last Wednesday, one of them being how many people are in our family. Last Thursday morning we had our baby!
Experiences vs. Things
As a style blogger, I definitely appreciate 'things'. I love clothes, shoes and accessories as much or more than the next girl. But I've come to really appreciate experiences much more than things- especially when it comes to my kids.
Looking Ahead This Week
Well I'm still convinced October is the best month of the year- and I don't care how many people agree. It must be true if we all think it right?! It's sweater weather and even boot weather and there are so many good things coming up.
Everyday Style October
I can't even say how thankful I am for real Fall weather right now at the end of this pregnancy. I would not look or feel anywhere close to this way if it were mid-Winter or Summer or even Spring. Fall is my jam and a pregnant lady's best friend.
My Favorite Escape
As a work-at-home mom I feel like I get to experience the best of all worlds. I love being with my kids all day at home and doing the things that I did as an exclusively stay-at-home mom.
Being a Mom Makes Me Better
I think I've mentioned it before, but one of my favorite things about being a mom is how much it pushes me to be better. My kids are such great motivators and I love seeing that in action. I'm willing to work harder, go farther and push myself outside of my comfort zone because of my boys.
