Just popping in today to share Everyday style post details from the last few weeks. We've had a busy week around here with Nickel & Suede and have lots of mess to clean up today.

Before I started my blog, I wasn't a big blog reader. I had a few I would check and I loved reading my friends and family's blogs, but I didn't know a lot about any other genres.

For some reason pastels like blush, mint and gray came to mind first. Not exactly the Spring-y kind, but muted colors that are still airy and light. So when I received this beautiful sweater from PB&J Boutique in the mail, it was exactly in line with my thoughts.

Ever since I discovered teeth whitening kits in high school I have been a little bit crazy about whitening my teeth. I'm no saint about it- I still drink plenty of Crystal Light and Diet Coke, but I do love white teeth!

Over the last year I've noticed that I always choose my ankle boots over my tall boots. I love my tall boots, but for some reason never reach for them. This gives me all kinds of closet guilt because I just know my expensive boots are sitting in there feeling neglected. So this week I deliberately tried to style them and I think I found my solution! I love wearing them with my ripped denim!

If you have followed me for long- you'll notice something unusual about this outfit. I'm wearing tights. I decided to give them a try during this cold burst we are having and I found out I actually liked it.

Well, it's 3 degrees here in Kansas City. And I've got my thermostat set to 73. So- yes blog photos inside. The cold weather is already getting old and holy cow am I thankful to have heat!

One of the things that drives my husband crazy about me (and not in a good way) is the fact that all of my electronic devices are always out of battery. Currently my laptop is dying (must go plug in now) and my phone is probably at 5%.

Yes, I worked on being content last year- but this year I want to work on celebrating progress.
