ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
Small Business Saturday + Our Holiday
As you know today is Small Business Saturday. I'll be doing some shopping and wanted to let you know that we are offering free shipping on all domestic orders today at Nickel & Suede.
Gratitude and Acceptance Speeches
Today is Thanksgiving and for the last few weeks I've been reflecting on how much I have to be thankful for. Of course I'm thankful for my home, enough food to eat, my kids and my family.
What I Wore- Subtle Glam
My style is definitely casual. I don't really wear dresses or skirts except for church so if there is a way to dress up and still wear pants- I'm all about it. One fun way to glam up this Winter is to find a top with built-in bling.
Once Upon a Northpole Christmas- Time to Brag
I may have mentioned before that my Dad is an artist for Hallmark Cards. When I was 2 we moved from Utah to Missouri so that my Dad could take a job there and he has been illustrating greeting cards for them ever since.
What I Wore- Leather and Leopard
Well, I'd love to say we had a relaxing weekend and I'm ready to tackle my Monday today. But thankfully we had a CRAZY weekend and I'm starting this week drowning. Our Holiday sale killed us and I'm just amazed- amazed at the success that we are being blessed with.
What I Wore- Elbow Patches
I've been loving elbow patches for what seems like forever now and I don't think that will change any time soon. The black patches on this sweater add so much character to an otherwise basic mocha sweater.
What I Wore- Furry Momma
When I wore this (thrifted!) jacket home from taking photos the other day Knox greeted me so sweetly. He immediately let out an "ooo ooo ooooo!" and reached out to pet me. He has always loved soft and furry things more than my other boys ever did so it melts my heart when he reacts that way.
Beauty Product Review- Clarisonic Mia 2
For the last few years- the Clarisonic has been on my wish list for Christmas. I had heard amazing things about the past models and having never spent a lot of effort on my skin, I wanted to see what it could do for me.
Sunday Style- Burnt Sienna and Cream
I can't put a finger on it, but it was just such a good day. We worked hard, played together and our family just felt....good. Sometimes I think we don't do enough elaborate things with our kids or we need to make up for working so much but really all we need is time together to recharge.
