I purposefully went card shopping without the toddlers and holy cow is reading cards enjoyable without two kiddos tearing apart the aisle! I found a whole end cap of religious humor cards which were fun to peruse for him and then I had a ball playing with all of the cards that move (!?!) and sing.

This polka dot tee is fun, but I love adding two bright colors to really pop the pattern. And a colored pencil skirt is just like a pair of colored denim- they wear great with neutrals and basics.

It's funny how things can sometimes turn out differently than you expect. When I saw these Jessica Simpson blue suede peep toe wedges with rivet detailing on the shoe rack at the thrift store- I swear the heavens sang.

My kids are planning their Halloween costumes and we have been throwing around party ideas for Kesler's third birthday. His birthday falls a few days before Halloween and that makes for a busy end of October.
