This last month has been so busy with work and family that I haven't taken many professional photos for full blog posts. I'll have more of those to share soon, but today I have a big round up of outfits from Instagram.

We've been back for a few weeks now, and it's even been long enough for me to start wondering if it was all a dream. :) It wasn't. But it really was such a dreamy trip. When we booked our flights for Italy it felt surreal, but boarding our plane is when it started to really set in.

Valentine's Day may be over, but I still think of February as the month of love. And I don't think it's just about being in love or having a valentine. A huge part of love is loving yourself. Loving yourself for who you are and who you know you can be is critical in being able to show love to others—and to receive it!

I hope you have had a great week so far! I'm excited it's Friday although it feels like there is a lot to do before I'm ready for Sunday. Soren and I are leaving for Italy on Sunday and even as I type it it doesn't seem real.

Is it just me or does it seem like this month should be over already? We were in a meeting the other day, and someone asked what day it was. We were all SHOCKED that it was only the 6th.

I've had a love affair with ripped jeans for years. But every once and a while I'll come across a pair of distressed jeans that I LOVE, but the gaping holes just go too high up on the thigh. When I first started my blog, I had recently rediscovered thrifting. For several years, shopping at thrift stores was my favorite retail therapy. I now shop almost exclusively online - for myself, my kids, and Soren. And until a little while back, that meant no more thrifting. Enter thredUP.

Although many of us have been second-guessing what season it really is (endless summer, anyone?), fall has finally arrived. The leaves are here to prove it, and I'm freaking out just a little bit as I look at the date on the calendar.
