ONE LITTLE MOMMA ARCHIVES
In 2012 I was a SAHM with a small Etsy shop and two little boys under five. I was lost in early motherhood and a thoughtful friend recommended starting a blog. I had no clue where to even start, but with a little effort and a lot of late nights, One Little Momma began.
I posted my outfits and deepest thoughts daily for years and only stopped when our family business demanded more of my time and energy. I’m excited to reopen these archives and again share old memories and years of content made with lots of love with you.
Checking in with a Bumpdate
Well, we're one week closer to my November 4 due date. And although I'm not crazy about constantly involving you in the details of this pregnancy, I thought it would be fun to throw out a pregnancy update at this point. Almost there. Almost there.
Everyday Style- Early Fall
It's finally Fall here in Kansas City. I'm loving transitioning from Summer to Fall and finally pulling out cooler weather pieces to mix in with my Summer clothing.
Lace and Flares: Maternity Style
If there is one thing that you can accuse me of and I won't deny it- it's jumping in on Fall too early. I don't care that it's still August (only one more day!) and that I've been talking about Fall style since July. I just have been, I always do and I know it's cliche.
Everyday Style- August
It's Friday again and time is just flying by! As I calendared this morning I realized that we only have 11 days left until school starts and then it really will feel like Summer is over! It's hard to see the free days of Summer come to an end so we're packing in the fun this next week.
Alt Day 1- Meeting New People
In my opinion, the two best parts of blogging are making new friendships and learning new skills. Although it used to be (and sometimes still is) outside of my comfort zone, I love meeting and connecting with other bloggers and readers.
Stitch Fix Maternity
Okay, you all know I'm a long time Stitch Fix fan. I love getting my box of items styled just for me each month- and even if I only keep one thing each month- those months add up. I've gotten some really great pieces over the last year and now that I'm pregnant things just keep getting better.
Kimono and Flare Denim
I'm a chronic layerer. Even when it's hot. So kimonos are trend that totally make sense for me. They are lightweight and don't add any extra warmth to an outfit- just a fun pattern and my beloved extra layer.
Sunday Style- Americana
If there is a color combo I love- it's red, white and blue. My boy's have a closet full of it and I could wear it all Summer long. It just feels American, nautical and just plain Summery. This Summer I'm pairing it with nude accessories and a cute little man to boot.
