When I found out I was having my first boy, I can say that I wasn't very excited about the idea of dressing a boy. I thought the girls were the only ones with cute clothes, shoes and accessories, but I quickly found out how far that is from the truth.

Today I want to share some tips for getting your family on board with a photo shoot that will make them and you happy! It will also give you the fun candid shots that you want!

I'm creeping up on that stage of life where I have bigger kiddos. I still have littles too, but the fact that I have bigger kids has changed my day-to-day life. I also work now, so things are busier than ever, but there was a time when things weren't so busy.

This past weekend every time I hopped onto Facebook, I felt like I was being overwhelmed with so many different opinions about right and wrong and what is important and what isn't. Rather than being informed or uplifted by things I was reading, I just felt stressed.

I'm so proud of the beauty and the faith that this collection shares. It perfectly aligns with how I want my kids to understand and cherish Christmas. I'm thankful for my dad's example and for the light that these images share with the world.

I would hate for anyone who sees me or reads my blog to think that there is something unique about me that makes one, or two or three kids a breeze. Or four! It's not and it wasn't. Every woman has it tough- whether she has none, one, two, three, or more!

Below I've listed many of the things we considered and did to make flying with four kids under seven a little easier.

We had impromptu family photos a few weeks ago in our Christmas Sunday outfits and even though it was FREEZING- I'm still so happy with how they turned out.

Do one thing every day that can't get undone. Create something, write something, call someone, move one step closer on a goal. And I think there is magic in that.
