April is flying by and I can't say how much nicer life is when it's sunny outside. I'm loving dressing for Spring and enjoying these days when jeans and a tee shirt are just right.

I hope you have had a great week so far! I'm excited it's Friday although it feels like there is a lot to do before I'm ready for Sunday. Soren and I are leaving for Italy on Sunday and even as I type it it doesn't seem real.

Well, this is the last Everyday Style post of 2016. It's been an eventful year for us and I can't imagine what next year holds! The year 2016 has brought so many changes to my blog, social media and Nickel and Suede. And it's been so good!

I've had a love affair with ripped jeans for years. But every once and a while I'll come across a pair of distressed jeans that I LOVE, but the gaping holes just go too high up on the thigh. In today's tutorial I'll show you how I patch my overly distressed jeans in just a few steps- and with only two supplies!

I don't know about you, but I can buy gifts for everyone else all day long, but as soon as someone asks me what I want for Christmas I struggle. I instantly think of "new mixing bowls" or "some new kitchen utensils" because that's what moms ask for for Christmas. ;)
