I'm pretty stuck in neutral mode when it comes to colors, but every season it seems like a new one makes its way into my favorites category. This season it's yellow.

Embroidery is everywhere this year and I'm sure you've already seen it manifested in many ways this season. Several years back the Mexican style of embroidered dresses and blouses became popular again (loved them!) and the trend just hasn't gone away.

Is it just me or does it seem like this month should be over already? We were in a meeting the other day, and someone asked what day it was. We were all SHOCKED that it was only the 6th.

Well I'm still convinced October is the best month of the year- and I don't care how many people agree. It must be true if we all think it right?! It's sweater weather and even boot weather and there are so many good things coming up.

One of my favorite trending prints right now are watercolor florals. I love pieces that are different and a little artsy and pairing pretty florals with a loose fitting blouse is the perfect mix for me.

Let's talk about running three brands at once. And wearing the hats of Mom, Wife, Sunday School teacher, friend and homeowner. It's a big struggle.

One of the things that drives my husband crazy about me (and not in a good way) is the fact that all of my electronic devices are always out of battery. Currently my laptop is dying (must go plug in now) and my phone is probably at 5%.

This outfit is a little out of the box for me, but with good reason. My younger brother Cody came home from a two year mission in Taiwan this week and brought this blouse home for me.

I'm ringing in the New Year with a little more color than usual today. I've got my eye on a lot of fringe and leopard print this coming year and these two accessories together are just right for pulling together a basic Target tee and dark skinny denim.
