We've been back for a few weeks now, and it's even been long enough for me to start wondering if it was all a dream. :) It wasn't. But it really was such a dreamy trip. When we booked our flights for Italy it felt surreal, but boarding our plane is when it started to really set in.

This summer was a different one for our family for a lot of reasons. We opened a store, we had four kids at home full time, and we moved our business out of our home. It was busy, and it was really hard to get the normal things done. It was a summer of fast food and feeling frazzled.

I've delayed posting this outfit because I am VERY on the fence about the denim skirt trend that is reappearing. I'm already freaked out about hitting middle aged mom status and I feel like this oufit kinda seals the deal. (You can't win them all right? Sometimes an outfit just doesn't come together like you think it will!)

The 90's are the era that I spent a lot of my growing up years in and honestly I hoped they would never come back. The 80's were worse, but I must be getting older and enough time has passed to change my mind.

This month's #everydaystyle is a mish-mash of end of Winter and Spring outfits.

Let's talk about running three brands at once. And wearing the hats of Mom, Wife, Sunday School teacher, friend and homeowner. It's a big struggle.

There are a lot of trends that I make up my mind pretty quickly about. But every once and a while some trends that I'm on the fence about, eventually I'll end up trying it.

Over the last few months, I've been working on improving the photos on my blog. Maybe you can't tell because of the grainy cell phone pics you still see sometimes, but I have.

This outfit is a super casual usual around here. I wear this tunic all of the time and layering it with a cardigan makes it warmer for Winter inside wear. I bought myself this Freshly Picked bag for Christmas and holy cow- it really is amazing.
