Hey, hey, Monday after a long weekend. Let me tell you—I was not prepared for today. I got up early with good intentions, and then Abercrombie sucked me into their Cyber Monday sale, and next thing I knew it was time to get kids on the bus.

Happy Monday! It's a chilly Spring break here in Kansas City. Easton is out of school all week and things are always busier and messier with all four kids at home all week. I'm hoping to do at least one fun thing each day to try and make the most of the week.

This weekend was a weekend to catch up. It started out as a whirlwind with a Friday road trip to buy more leather for Nickel & Suede. The trip went well and it was fun to getaway for the day and have a few moments of thought to myself.

I've been trying to write this post in my head for the last few weeks - ever since I found out the news. But it's a hard thing to say because my emotions about it have been all over the place. In general, I feel great about it - at peace and brave.

When I saw this sweater in the "Ugly Sweater" section at Savers- I knew there had been a classifying mistake. A navy and red vintage reindeer sweater? What luck! I snagged it and it has been the perfect go-to sweater for all holiday events this season.

I really love leather accessories. I think I have made clear by now, but what I love even more is when I can wear my favorite accessories in multiple ways! Recently I have been wearing my leather cuff in a new way.
