I hope you had an awesome week. I'm home today after an amazing trip to Alt Summit in Salt Lake and definitely have my work cut out for me with laundry and picking up the evidence of me being gone.

It really is amazing how often throughout the day I feel like "Oh, I'm so behind! I'll never catch up or finish this to-do list or have a functioning, clean house! I'll never get a break! I'm late for everything! Today is not my day.

This week has definitely been full of its ups and downs. There have been really sweet moments and also incredibly long and challenging days. I'm thankful for both because they work together to make life worth living.

We have been snowed in all week and honestly I am so glad it is Friday and that we have a fun holiday coming up next week. I've been doing just a little bit of Valentine's Day crafting, but a little pink and red goes a long way.

This week, a huge blogger conference is happening out west. I didn't have plans to go and I'm needed at home with my boys and my baby right now. But it has been tough to see and feel like everyone is there but me.

One of my blogging resolutions for this year was to do a better job of posting worth-reading Friday posts. Ya know, something with some meat in it. But so far that has not been happening.

I have yet to find the right fake tree so we usually just pick a real one up from Lowes, and dream of the days of a nice pre-lit evergreen. Well on a whim I looked up a local tree farm and we decided to try our hand at cutting one down. What a great tradition to start!
