What a relief to have family photos done for the year! We had them done last year, but I wanted to get some done this year with our most recent addition. Knox was still a little young (read slouchy) for photos, but he sat up okay and it was getting to cold to wait any longer. We headed out to the field behind our house for pics and dragged an old chair out there with us. I snagged the chair out of someones garbage and it was the perfect vintage prop. I love that we have a field at our disposal and the colors were just fantastic with the green grass and Fall leaves.

I debated and debated about what to put us in clothing wise, but we ended up with a tomato red, navy and gray color combo. I even followed my own advice here. I guess it worked because Soren was surprisingly agreeable during the shoot. Afterwards claimed it was because my outfit was his new favorite one ever. Win!
