WIWW-Smize

Hey, all! It is Wednesday again and time for What I Wore Wednesday. Every Wednesday I chronicle much of what I have worn that week. I love fashion and I love wearing a great outfit, but these posts really do help me push to my style farther and motivate me to get put together most days.  And thank goodness for that right now, because I swear that desire shuts off as soon as you hit like 2 weeks pregnant. Anyone else relate???
This is what I wore to the aquarium with the family. I’m a sucker for stripes and all things neutral so this worked for me. These are new maternity denim, once again from Old Navy. I wasn’t sold on them, but Soren liked them and even said so. For the price and a hubby comment, I think they are worth keeping around.

When I requested this pair of green jeans, I had basically this outfit in mind from an old pin on Pinterest. Obviously there are differences, but what I love about the outfit is the same. Green jeans, black and white printed top, and camel colored boots- a winning combination.

Top: Old Navy, Jeans: Liverpool Jean Company, Boots: American Eagle (old- looking to sell them maybe??)
These next photos are proof that I need help modeling. (And maybe I that I should comb my hair after church…yikes!) I haven’t gotten the ‘smize’ down and cannot pull a fake ‘real’ smile out of thin air yet. Maybe I need to take a class….now that would be interesting.
Despite that these pics were the best of the 50 photos of this outfit, I do enjoy all of the textures in the outfit itself. Lace + tweed + leather works great, especially in the gray and brown tones. The gray tights were outside of my comfort zone, but I think I like how they worked out. After years of ballet, I can rarely do tights in real life. My brain things they are only for dance class. Weird, I know.
