Instafriday: Christmas is Coming

I'm feeling it guys. Christmas is coming. Soon! I cannot believe how busy this week has been. Soren has been in St. Louis for the week and I can't believe he is already coming home. Since when have I ever thought that? Usually business trips drag on forever!

What have we been up to? Well, dress making to start! I have quickly learned how much I don’t know about sewing clothing from scratch, but with some great help it is coming together. It feels like I’m adding to my skill set.

 

 

Yep, we’ve still got the kittens. They have been growing like weeds and they think they run the house. They have a knack for knocking over my beverages and joining us for our meals, but we like them all the same. They are pretty good sports about getting toted around by the kids. Easton is a great little pet owner.

 

 

On Friday I took the kids down to pick Soren up from work. We went on a little family holiday outing to see the lights down on the Plaza. The weather was great and we all enjoyed the lights and the street performers.

 

 

Afterwards we went to Panera for some hot chocolate and cookies. The kids were goofy and got all sugared up. We even tried singing Christmas carols on the way home. Those didn’t last long before the whining began, but we tried.
