Dressy

Lately things seem to keep moving forward faster and faster. Most days I can't tell you what day of the week it is or what we did yesterday, but I do know things are getting done. And thanks to the extended visit of my mother-in-law, I feel a little bit on top of things. She arrived before Halloween and is staying until almost Thanksgiving, and I will seriously be handicapped when she leaves. I honestly don't know how we could have done the last few weeks without her constant help. She has been a living dream by helping with laundry, dishes, meals, and kids. And I am so, so thankful for it. Soren and I have been able to finish interviewing new holiday help and take a day trip to shop for leather, I've been running errands during nap time, and we even had an extensive filming day for our family yesterday. Think family pictures on steroids. Three outfit changes, three locations. But it was totally manageable because we had a third adult! I can't imagine how we survived without her.
I'm really trying to somehow enjoy the help and the "break" while still staying on my A game so that when she leaves, I'll still be a competent adult. ;)

This outfit is one of my favorites so far this year. Unfortunately the top is sold out, but this clutch, these pants, and these shoes are total holiday staples. This furry clutch comes in several colors, and I LOVE the texture it adds to this outfit. These pants are stretchy and have a cute crop kick flare leg, plus they are an awesome price. And then there are the heels. I tried multiple pairs like these, and this pair won the comfort award. I was in the market for new black heels, and these will do the work for the next long while. Love them!

I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend. We'll be heading to a baptism tonight for one of Easton's best friends, and then we actually have family photos tomorrow. My family may officially disown me after this week of camera time. ;)
