Shorts for Date Night

I stick with long shorts in the Summer and some Summer's they are "in" and other's they aren't. This year- kind of like with denim- I feel like any length of shorts goes. You can find all length's in most stores which is nice for people like me. This year I knew I wanted some slim black shorts. They are my Summer version of the black skinny jean and pair well with loose tops and tees. Today I've dressed them up a bit with wedges and a short sleeve blouse, but they also work great with Converse or Birks and a graphic tee on a daily basis. One other option for getting a long slim black short is to cut off black skinny jeans, but I don't have a pair I'm willing to do that to yet.
