I'm so sad the weather was uncooperative for these photos. It literally started dumping rain the second we stopped shooting so unfortunately the photos didn't turn out as clear as I hoped. BUT I love this outfit and wanted to share it anyway. Life's not perfect right?
Last Sunday was Mother's Day and this is what I wore to church. I bought myself some new shoes for Mother's Day and they are just the nude wedge sandal I've been looking for. I tried to find them online but unfortunately that is the problem with TJ Maxx- most of their items aren't online! I did link to a similar pair above.
But what I really wanted to mention today is this bag. TOMS sent me one of their new bags for Mother's Day (so nice of them!!!). Did you know they sell bags now? I didn't, but when I found out what is so special about their bag program, I wanted to go buy three more!
I'm sure you are familiar with TOMS One for One program with their shoes and sunglasses- but the give back that comes with purchasing a bag hit me in the heart. With every bag you purchase you provide medical training for a skilled birth attendant, a birth kit and a healthy delivery for one mom and her baby. So really its' one for two! Newborns and the blessing of a safe delivery things that are near and dear to my heart. I can't imagine being one of the 40 million women in the world who give birth without a skilled attendant. Women are amazing, but no one should have to do that alone or without helpful or life saving medical care available. So consider purchasing a bag for yourself or as a gift this year. I know I'm already getting plenty of use out of mine!
