InstaFriday: We Love Christmas

I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone already. We had a great one and I wanted to share a few photos from our celebrations before the holiday is too far gone. This momma is exhausted though so I'll have to let the pictures do most of the talking because I am heading to BED. No burning the midnight oil for me tonight.

We had amazing dinner with my family on Christmas Eve and followed it up with clever games from my mom and a little Christmas program from my dad. The kids were in heaven.

Yes- I did FINALLY find matching pjs in all of my boys' sizes. They opened them Christmas Eve and if anything- my heart grew two sizes seeing them all together.

My aunt sent my mom a hugging pillow with arms and my brother, Cody's face on it. He still has a year left on his mission in Taiwan and my aunt thought my mom would like a hug from her boy for Christmas. We all laughed, but Knox really got into it. He hugged and slobbered and grabbed at that face for half an hour. A-DOR-A-BLE.

My brother Logan (pictured above) gave me this AMAZING drawing he did of a photo I had taken of Knox. He is 15 and said it only took him about 45 minutes. (What??) I love that he drew it and I'm in awe of how it turned out.

Our kids seriously slept in on Christmas morning. We did our own Christmas morning and honestly it was fantastic. We didn't even open stockings until 9 am or later. I got Cherry Danish made and scrambled eggs. We opened presents slowly and played with them as we went.

Soren got the kids each their own 50 ft of rope, carabiners and pulleys. It should be interesting to see what they come up with with those tools.

My parents and brothers ended up coming over later in the day and eventually we got to Skype with Cody as well. It was such a relaxed and happy day. I really hope that yours was just as enjoyable or more!

Ok- so out with 2013 and in with 2014. Tune in Monday- maybe even Sunday for some Blog and Shop updates. I'm sure you are dying to know what to expect this year!

Happy Friday.
