InstaFriday: 4 More Weeks Until Baby

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week and fun weekend plans. It is InstaFriday where I share a little about our family's week. We have been busy working, playing and doing the things we do.

As far as projects go, the nursery is still under construction. I had a good friend prove how great of a friend she is when she showed up at my house with these in tow. Apparently she pulled them off a barn with me in mind. I know just where they are going to hang. Have you ever tried to purchase a pair of antlers like these? They are pricey and hard to find. What a dream come true.

Another good friend invited us out to her home for a MOPS Plant a Pot activity. She has acreage and plenty of things to keep little boys busy so my kids were in heaven. How cute is this tractor swing? Never mind that Kesler thought it was a horse the whole time.

Moments like these make me so glad to have a camera phone. I'm guessing it isn't just my kids, but so often bath time is full of fighting over things like goggles or the blue cup and not as much just playing together. As a Mom seeing my kids play well together is the most rewarding thing. Not much else makes me feel so good!

We are trying to get back into a little bit of exercising. I won't be doing much until after the little one is born, but I want the kids to be getting more now that winter is over. We love to go to the local track and run/walk around it. I can usually get Easton to run one or two laps and Kesler will walk with me. Then the two of them play soccer in the middle while I do the rest of my work out. It worked great last year so I hope we can start up again. I'll just be pushing the jogging stroller this year.

And Mother's Day came a little early for me this year. Soren surprised me with these fantastic rain boots a week or two before Mother's Day. The weather had gotten yucky again so he knew I would use them. I know all fashion bloggers are crazy about Hunter rain boots, but these mid-height citron Tretorn's have my heart. It was a super thoughtful surprise.
