InstaFriday: Looking Ahead
I have a thing for looking forward to things. I love to have something fun, exciting or interesting on the horizon. I look forward to getting the mail everyday in hopes that there will be a good magazine, coupon, package or card just for me. I love getting invited to things and putting them on my calendar. Right now I am totally looking forward to Spring and warm weather, shorter work hours for my hubby and the tiny new baby joining our family in June. I am looking forward to garage sale season starting and the SNAP! blog conference in Utah that I will be going to with friends in April. I thrive on knowing that there are good things to come and getting ready for them.
That being said- I have begun baby shopping for this new little one who’s arrival we are anticipating. (I even ordered these online so I got to look forward to their arrival in the mail too! Bonus!) I cannot wait for baby boy #3 to wear these all Winter long.
I have also been hard at work nesting around here. If I am not taking an outfit photo for the blog, this is what I have been wearing- painting clothes. The goal is to single handedly- sort of- paint the entire inside of the house before the baby comes. And decorate a nursery. And sew some baby blankets. And a few other things.
We are looking forward to Spring and Easter around here too. I can’t wait to start and continue some fun traditions with my kids now that they are understanding more and getting bigger. We went to the local farm supply store on Friday night to check out their baby chicks and ducks that they get in for Easter. They were so darling. We ALMOST came home with some but I resisted.
Today was the first really warm day we have had in what seems like forever. The snow is FINALLY almost all gone and I flung open all of the windows. Kesler and I played outside all morning while Easton was at school and got in some tree climbing, bear hunting and swinging. Later we got to a little soccer, more swinging and bike riding. What a mood boost the sunshine and warm temps are!
Of course we did it all in costume. At least a cape.
