Instafriday: Your House Smells Good
I take too many photos with my phone these days. On Fridays I share a few and tell ya’ll a little about our week. So, welcome to our life through an Instragram filter.
One of my favorite compliments to receive is when people tell me my house smells good. I think I always admired good smelling houses growing up because ours never smelled like anything. Scents gave my mom headaches, but now that I have a house- I love to smell it up!
I found this little owl scented oil warmer at Wal-Mart this week and I adore him. He is a great addition to my kitchen and works great so far!
These are my two plug-in scents I am trying this week. I’m ready for a fall scent. The Autumn Harvest is a little strong and the Apple Cinnamon is pretty sweet, but I am liking using them as a pair. Any that you are liking?
While Soren was out of town I got a lot done. Except for laundry. If you can believe it I slept on this three day old pile of clean laundry right after this photo was taken. Things I thought I’d never do.
The boys usually are awesome helpers. We sing a little clean up song as we work and they join right in. This photo captures the idea of them helping and the reality of the mess actually being made.
I did get my fall wreath done this week. I LOVE it. It will be on our door every fall for the rest of my life because of how much it cost, but since I LOVE it- that won’t be a problem.
Soren got home from his week long work trip and we enjoyed picking him up at the airport. The boys took advantage of his luggage cart and honey roasted peanuts while we were there.
After the airport we stopped at a park to play. The memorable part was Easton using the woods to go number 2 for the first time. Proud day for me.
Soren and Easton picked up McDonalds and the Lorax on Redbox during some errands tonight. They were so happy with their fries, chocolate shakes and a new movie. Its wonderful now that they are both old enough to sit and cuddle and watch a movie with us. Well, maybe half a movie.
