WIWW- Big Announcement

If you are new to WWIW, each week I post what I wore throughout the previous week. It’s a fun way to motivate me to ‘style’ my outfits everyday, share outfit ideas, and give a few style tips.

:::BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:::

NEXT WEEK look for a new LINK PARTY here at ONE little MOMMA. Get ready to link up to WKWW: What Kids Wore Wednesday!

I know all of you Mom’s have been back to school shopping and outfit planning for Fall for your kiddos. Some of you have even been crafting and sewing new school clothes for your little ones. Here is the place to show them off. Obviously here at OLM we love kiddo fashion and we want to see what your kids are wearing. It will be low pressure around here, but hopefully a fun outlet for you mommas. Lets see what you have crafted, thrifted, purchased and assembled for your kids to wear!

Anyways, where was I? Oh, what I wore.

This outfit was one of my favorites this week and of course also took the least thought. Isn’t that how it always goes. Well you might be able to tell my face is swollen, but what you can’t tell (thanks to the scarf) is that I have major HIVES going on here. These pics were taken just before going back to Urgent Care to get steroids for the allergic reaction I had to the antibiotics I was given for my Staph infection. Follow that? All you need to know is that for 3 days I had INSANE red polka dots all over my entire body. Thank goodness for concealer.

Top: Eddie Bauer, Scarf: Eddie Bauer, Jeans: Downeast, Shoes: TOMS, Earrings: I made

By Sunday I was feeling much better. I am not sure denim skirts are in right now, but I picked this one up at Saver’s a few weeks ago and I think it works. J Crew is really into their button ups this fall so I threw one on and haphazardly tucked and rolled it. Also I got my hair cut. It was getting a little out of control as you can see in the first pic.

Top: American Eagle, Skirt: Thrifted (originally Banana Republic), Belt: ONE little BELT, Shoes: Old Navy, Bracelets and earrings: Forever 21

I wore this to my therapist appointment on Monday. Yep, I have a therapist and she helps me with my life. Sometimes I leave the office feeling like, ‘Wow I need help.’ Yesterday I left with a pat on the back and a ‘good job at improving in life’ feeling. Score! Typically I think this cardigan is too boring with just a white tank or tee under it. The lace design on this tank really makes the outfit interesting.

Tank: Eddie Bauer, Cardi: Old Navy, Shorts: American Eagle, Shoes: Old Navy, Clutch: thrifted

This top reminds me of Michael Jackson. It has shoulder pads and rhinestone details on the shoulders. It was also a Saver’s find a few weeks ago and I couldn’t pass up the black and white stripes with the bonus of crazy-cool shoulder accents. To prevent the shoulder pads from dating the top, I styled it with big sleek earrings and a wide silver cuff. I also pulled some metallic down to the bottom with my lace up silver sandals.

Top: thrifted, Shorts: Old Navy, Shoes: GAP, Jewelry: Forever 21

I didn’t get a great shot of this last outfit, although I really liked wearing it. This is what I wore to the vendor event ONE little BELT had this weekend. I got lots of compliments on my necklace and I was perfectly comfortable the whole day.
