Happy Monday! I'm up early this morning ready to go drink some orange glucose goo and have my blood drawn and really- I can't think of a better way to start the week. If Monday's aren't your thing- now you know yours already has a leg up on mine.
We took theses photos a few weeks back and I've been saving them in hopes of putting together a little head wrap tying video for you. But it hasn't happened and I apologize. I often run into the frustration of trying to run a comprehensive and awesome blog- while running and growing an awesome business and those two things just have a hard time coexisting. I'm doing my best and I so appreciate you cutting me slack- because I always need it.
This scarf actually couldn't be easier to tie. It is just an over sized square vintage scarf that I loosely rolled and then wrapped from behind my head up to the top of my head. And then I tied it in a bow. What makes it work is that I left some bangs out in the front on the one side and covered a tiny bit of my ears with the scarf rather than shoving it behind them or covering them entirely like a workout band. I also played with the proportions of the bow and balanced out the bow to the ends by tugging them slightly. Don't be afraid to try multiple times to get it right. And BEFORE tying the scarf on, be sure to dry shampoo your head and tease the roots a little so that you have some body on the crown of your head.
If you have questions feel free to leave them in the comments or ask me on Instagram. I hope you have a great start to your week- and wish me luck this morning!
