With Independence Day around the corner, I had to share at least one red, white and blue outfit with you. I've said it before, but this is my favorite color combination to style. I don't wear a lot of color but red, white, and blue are colors I really love. Even I find them easy to wear- which is why recommend a red bag and red shoes for every closet. You can always pair them with something blue or white in your closet and get great results.
And speaking of favorite things- you may have noticed I'm finally wearing a new watch these days. I've retired the statement watch I always wear (and we used to sell)- in favor of a new favorite. And I'm in love!
I wouldn't say I'm hard to please- but I am particular about what I like. I've been on the hunt for a new watch for some time and I couldn't find anything that was just right. I was looking for something unique, something I could wear daily, and something that fit my casual/slightly edgy style. And as soon as I started browsing the wood watches at Jord, I knew I had found the just the thing.
This watch is unbelievably lightweight -which you know matters to me as someone who only wears leather jewelry. It literally goes with everything I wear and I never feel like its too casual or too dressy. I love that the wood complements all of my leather or metal jewelry- it adds just the right aesthetic to every outfit.
And the real proof of how highly I recommend my wood watch? We bought my Dad his own for Father's Day. He saw mine shortly after I started wearing it and kept mentioning how much he liked it. I instantly knew it would be the perfect gift, so we surprised him with his own. He was elated and I haven't seen him without it since. And of course we had to snap a few Father/daughter photos together to document the great surprise.
