An Imperfectly Perfect Christmas and a $1000 Holiday Giveaway
This month is flying by and it certainly feels like Christmas is around the corner. We got our tree up over Thanksgiving weekend and throughout the week afterwards we slowly got our decorations up. We don't have a lot and they aren't perfect but I love the cozy and warm feeling they bring as they light up the house. For the last few years we have cut down our own Christmas tree and this year was no exception. The selection of trees at our regular farm were all quite small this year, but I decided I don't mind. We have two kittens who are happy to play in our tree and baby who loves to throw ornaments, so things wouldn't stay perfect even if they started that way.
The tree we chose is only 5 1/2 feet tall and its got some holes. Our ornaments are all different and we have a vintage tree skirt. Oh, and our star won't stay standing straight for anything. But really, it's all beautiful. I love the imperfect theme we have working for us because that is how we are living life. We are trying hard everyday to be better as people, a family and a business- but we aren't without our mistakes. Christmas will still come and we still have a beautiful life.
