What We Wore + a Giveaway
Before we had Kesler, when we only had one child, we were so worried we wouldn't be able to love the second as much as the first. How could we? Where was any more love going to come from? We were sure one of the kids would get less love. We just couldn't wrap our heads around us. I even remember going to the pumpkin patch with Easton right before I was due and thinking, "This is our last outing as a family of three." I was mourning it! But then baby number two came and wow, did we love him! Somehow our love for our kids has multiplied exponentially with each addition. There is no shortage of love around here!
The challenge we have found is that there is a shortage of time. Having three kiddos makes it hard to give each one individual attention. I have realized lately how often I lump Kesler and Easton together in EVERYTHING. They don't really have separate lives or separate time with us. And I think that has gotta change. It will definitely be a forced change when Easton starts pre-K summer school next month. (Which kills me! Why does he have to grow up!!!!!) But I want to be more deliberate about spending quality time with each of my guys.
One way I tried to do this in the last week was including only my oldest, Easton, in a Mom and Me style post. I know a photo shoot probably isn't be his first activity choice- but I picked out a new shirt for him in his favorite color and he and I spent time playing catch. My kids love to look at photos of themselves and I know he and I will both cherish photos of us together like this later on. When I stopped posting What Kids Wore Wednesday, I stopped doing kid's style posts- but I still like picking out clothes for my kids. I plan on doing more of these types of posts- one on one with my boys.

PS- Did you notice that ball we were playing catch with? Soren made it out of leather and filled it with Airsoft bb's. It is the perfect size and weight for teaching kids to play ball and we've been having a lot of fun with it. It's amazing the things you can make out of leather!
