What I Wore- At Home Edition

I've been asked several times to share what I wear at home, so because yesterday it was -30 windchill and outfit photos weren't happening, I figure this is the week. I've put together (if you can even call it that), three outfits that are SUPER typical around this house. This is me in real life. Just like you, I don't get dressed up every day in jeans and boots and scarves and jackets. As a SAHM, I am home all day several days a week. I usually shower and put on makeup, but my outfits are definitely more lounge-y and repetitive than than you see here on the blog.

This outfit is definitely my go-to at home look. I love these over sized Aztec cardigans so much that I have three of them: black and white, white and black and red and white. They are so cozy and look fab with a basic pair of leggings and a white tee. I wear leggings all of the time at home, but almost never in public. Even at home I keep my booty covered with this trick from when I was pregnant. (Yes I still wear those DIY shirt extenders)  I just can't get on the leggings as pants train. They are great for home, but not out in public- not for me.

I posted a tutorial for this sweatshirt a while back and I still wear it all of the time. A cute sweatshirt, long tee and moccasins or slippers is another combo I wear a lot. I should mention too that these earrings are our Silver Leather earrings and I wear them NON-STOP. They totally count as lounge worthy in my book because they are so light and soft I can't even tell I'm wearing them. I don't even wear my watch at home, but I'll wear those earrings.

And last, I haven't found many printed leggings that I love, but these black and white Aztec ones are fun to wear with a long sweater/tunic. Also I wear contacts so in the am or pm you'll often find me in glasses.

So that is really about it. Me in my semi-clean kitchen in my everyday wear.  It doesn't get much better or worse than that around here. I have a hard time spending money on lounge clothes because no one sees them, but then I underestimate how much I basically live in them. I really should buy more that I love.
