What I Wore- Neon and Leopard Print

I bought these printed pants last Summer and thought it pretty risky to wear them- risky at the time and looking back at photos in the future. It is funny how they seem so normal to me now. Normal enough to pair them with a neon tee!   Tomorrow's post is talking about how to wear neon. I have never loved neon, but when I saw this tee at Target on mega-clearance, I picked it up. It is a lot of neon- you'll read my other neon suggestions tomorrow- but I thought it would be a good way to try out this trend.

It was definitely harder than I thought it would be to style it. Because it is so basic and solid, plain blue jeans were too boring. Black jeans were out too unless they were paired with the right statement necklace- which I didn't have. I went with my gray printed jeans because they were less harsh of a contrast with the neon and the print broke up the solids problem. I like this outfit- but in the future I'll be sticking to smaller neon accessories rather than large items of clothing.
