This is officially my last maternity WIWW post. I had better not be pregnant by the time next Wednesday rolls around and if I am- don't expect it to be documented! I made the BEST discovery at H&M recently and I am kicking myself for almost passing them up- harem pants. Now I'm not on board with all harem pants, but I tried these ones on at H&M on a whim and my pregnant legs rejoiced. "No more skinny jeans!" they said. I was really surprised at how comfortable and even stylish they are. I'm thinking leggings are on their way out in general and the looser stuff is on its way in. I will certainly be wearing these postpartum and betting they only get cooler.

I wore them here with cute flats and a denim vest, but can't wait to try them out with wedges and dress them up a bit more. My hubby is more neutral towards then than I expected, but has yet to think they are flattering at all. These pants just may fall into the husband-repeller category for now.

Here I tried styling them with some cream Converse that I recently thrifted and a graphic tee. I think it works comfort wise, but would be much cuter if I wasn't 39 weeks pregnant here.

So my verdict on harem pants? They are a yes- even for pregnant gals. Don't get too crazy with the saggy crotch or patterns just yet, but a basic pair will put you on the cutting edge for now and only get cooler in the future.

Oh and yes my child sword fights me while swinging. Dangerous stuff.
