It's a.....

 

 

…nother BOY! Really it is. We found out yesterday and I was shocked. I really thought we were having a girl this time around. We are totally excited, but it is amazing what a brain shift it is from thinking you are having your first girl to finding out it is a third boy! I am a little disappointed about some specific girlie things I was looking forward to (ie. pierced ears, matching chambray shirts, tiny ballet slippers), but mostly the hardest part is that it will be YEARS before we have another shot at a girl. YEARS!

 

 

Many of you don’t know that I come from a family of five- four brothers and then me, the only girl. My dad comes from a family of 6 boys- no girls. My life is filled with boys from top to bottom and I love it, but I do feel like I have been waiting my WHOLE life for a baby girl to be born into my family. So we will wait a little longer. And that is okay because we love our boys! Isn’t he so cute already???

 

 

So onto the positives of baby boy number three! I get to reinvent baby boy things again. I am starting from scratch on this nursery so please send your cool ideas my way. I will also have a new tiny model for belts and ties come summer- always terrific for business. Plus, anything I buy for Kesler is now totally justified because it will definitely be passed on. AND we will now have a complete trio for our Three Musketeers. Soren will certainly be making this little one a sword and a quiver and a shield and heaven knows what else too. We know boys and we love them- so we are ready for you little one! Well, we will be…in a few months!
