WIWW- Short Hair
If you are new to WIWW, each week I post what I wore throughout the previous week. It’s a fun way to motivate me to ‘style’ my outfits everyday, share outfit ideas, and give a few style tips.

Do you have a get-rid-of/refashion/re-do pile of clothes like I do? I admit that I LOVE to get rid of things- in general- but when it comes to clothes that are still in good condition, or I still like something about, I feel really guilty sending them out the door. So I keep a pile/basket of clothing that I am no longer loving, in hopes of some stroke of refashioning genius that will make me want to allow me to wear them again. This floral top from Target got pulled from that pile. Turns out I like it with some brightly colored jeans. I saved it from the trash and it saved my outfit for a day at the park.

This photo is an outtake from the wavy hair tutorial I have been working on. There are about a million pictures to go through and pick from- which is why it’s taken forever. This outfit is very ‘me’ for everyday.

On Friday I wanted to try some double denim, but it was pretty warm so shorts won out. I’d prefer jeans with this look. Anyhow, I needed something that popped in the outfit so I tried out a headscarf. I see them all the time on Pinterest and its always on girls with long hair. Well, short hair needs some ideas too. I think it worked. I’d do it again. (Soren chose this picture- said it was cute, not my first pick.)

On Saturday we ate lunch downtown with the family for my Mom’s birthday. This was my favorite outfit of the week. I haven’t worn this hat before, but I loved pairing it with red jeans and my leopard TOMS. It felt like a nod to fall. It was also the perfect outfit for meeting up with some friends at the art museum later that day.

Sunday was a dressier day at church. I had Soren make me this collar necklace on Saturday night, so if you can’t tell I picked my outfit around it. I feel a collar necklace tutorial coming on….
